Empathic, highly organized, determined and of strong character with a unique ability to manage multidisciplinary projects and navigate through complex challenges. I can get quite technical if necessary, but I prefer a direct language that allows me to communicate effectively & offer solutions in:
Confluence, DocuWiki, documize, LaTeX, are some of my favorite tools, just put me in front of a technical project, a keyboard, and along its development I will translate it into high quality, readable documentation.
Along my career I have used several languages, C, C++, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript , Java, Bash Shell, every company has its own stack but do not worry, I can pick any language really fast and get the job done.
It’s been a long passion of mine since I was 12 years old since then I have been working in Vector art, interfaces, animations, digital image processing, photo editing & graphic simulations.
I really like getting my hands dirty (always with the proper tools though) and understand everything around Electrical systems from their operation, to their design and maintenance under the national code NOM-001.
I have spent a considerable amount of time studying the laws around, Patents, Utility models, industrial designs, software licenses (open/closed source), state of the art searches, I might not have a patent right now but rest assured your intellectual property is safe near me.
Been using IaaS for some time now, Amazon WebSevices, DigitalOcean & Linode, to implement High Availability design, Load Balancers, DNS, IT Recovery Strategies and centralized services (backups, monitoring and logging).
With Omnitracs acquisition by Solera, I was promoted to my first IT Management position within a team of 48 DevOps Engineers and Sysadmins, leading it as a group of level 3 tactical operations team, supporting all business units across both companies, including their tools, infrastructure during the AWS hybrid migration to the Pivotal Cloud Foundry platform while promoting the integration of Omnitracs with Solera
My job was to work with the product software development, systems engineering, and operations teams in the company, to foster and improve DevOps engineering practices in our hybrid cloud ecosystem. I'm also expected to be able to execute software and system development lifecycle activities, build operational procedures, and communicate to all technical and business stakeholders.
My job was to participate in the evolution of the infrastructure of the Palco4 eCommerce ticket system at a global level, maintaining the current architecture, participating in the re-design for its migration to the cloud, as well as testing the scalability and performance of new solutions.
A client facing position, my job was to raise the technical requirements of banks and collection agencies, from removing the technical barriers that may arise between the company and the client, to transform the requirements into technical specifications for the development team, remotely or on site if necessary. In addition to personal customer service, as a project leader I was responsible for managing projects of the assigned accounts dealing with high-level presentations to the detailed technical design and implementation, along the generation of highly specialized technical documentation.
I have already set the conditions to work remotely for any company around the world, I'm currently working as a sysadmin, my current objective is to become a Cloud engineer in the next years, I really like agile methodologies, and the DevOps approach, currently Im focusing on high availability design. When I actually achieve to become proficient at this. I would like to dig into cybersecurity, that's the plan (don't get mad if it changes)
Im really looking forward to apply to the program
Master’s degree on Cybersecurity I also value certifications a lot, so I have a plan certify myself in the
next couple months as an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect as soon as i have a
little bit more of time to study and have a chance to present my Certification exam I will make sure to make it public here.
Measurement and control of electrical and electronic systems on real time (telemetry).
Integration of circuitry to nanoscopic size, to create new devices and products dealing with high power.
Some say it’s already dead but I still believe it might have a long way to go, if its as radical as scrum I’m looking forward to adapt it as a work methodology.
